Asking is perfectly fine. So I'm not a huge expert but if you and your boyfriend are the sentimental type (or not I doesn't really matter) take your time to talk to him about it and tell how you feel. Try not to sound needy or clingy. Ask him if there's another girl he's talking to and if he says yes, ask him if he'd rather be with her so you know if he's ready to break up but if there isn't another girl, ask him how he's feeling about the relationship and if he wants to take a break, don't tell him you don't want to break up (you'll seem clingy) but don't make it seem like you don't care about breaking up though. And if it really feels like about to break up with you, you break up with him first because it'll hurt less. If you do end up breaking up, you'll find that will love you and treat you like the queen you are ♡
