Anxiety

Explanation:

Bustling around society, but you never know who's out to get you. You're given tasks, but do you finish them on time? What if you missed one? What will they say? You manage to get them done, no worries, but there's always something more to it. Careful where you step in this society. No one is safe. You could be framed, beaten, humiliated, and even robbed. Where do you stand here? What do you want to be? You don't know, but you have to choose. What if you make the wrong choices, what if you've made the wrong choices all along? Where will that lead you? A farm in Kentucky? A battered old town in Detroit? You panic, but it isn't time yet. You're still a scared young teen, but time is still running out. What will your place be in society? Will you be a successful influencer or another beggar on the streets? Try harder and go with the flow, life will decide for you.  But you don't know. You're a burning bush, flames roaring and leaves withering, but it hasn't swallowed you whole yet. FWOOSH! a single twig snaps and drastically adds to the flame. You'd rather sacrifice tooth and bone than let your life spiral out of control of what it already is, but it's already started. Bills start piling up, but you're still unemployed after your boss gave you the boot. You also have aging parents that can't work themselves, and they put in their savings to get you here in the first place. You're like a potato. You bloom on the surface as an attractive flower, but on the inside, you're boring and bland. You have no flavor, and your speckled skin doesn't help. You're nothing but a side dish compared to everyone else, but there's always a voice telling you the same phrase over and over again: calm down. You gather yourself together and take a deep breath. Everything's going to be okay. You hear a knock on the door. It's your friends whom you've met over the course of your journey. They've brought food and their support. You later facetime your parents to check in on them. They're doing fine. The voice then comes back to reassure you of what's going on. Take a breather. Life may be hard, but there's always people in it that help you through it. Don't worry. You'll be at your goal before you it.
