There are four oceans that cover approximately 75% of the Earth’s surface. They are the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Arctic Ocean. They all connect to each other, and have many smaller seas that connect to them as well. It is no wonder that so many sea creatures make their homes in these oceans and seas. It is the world’s largest habitat, providing so much area for these animals to explore. Why is the ocean the world’s largest habitat? It has four oceans. There are seas that connect to one another. So many sea creatures live there. It covers over 75% of the Earth’s surface.
