How do i summarize the author’s message in a text?

To summarize a text you need to gather all of your needed information. Once you have all the information, you will need to state your words. Maybe use words such as, In the end, In conclusion, To sum it all up, To sum it up, etc. Then restate what the text altogether. Make sure NOT to say the exact things over and over again

              In conclusion, Laura and Maurice were very good friends. Laura stated that an "invisible thread" brought her back to Maurice. When Laura asked her Doorman to give Maurice his lunch on his way to School, Maurice asked Laura if she could put it in a brown bag so, it would indicate that someone cares for him. Laura and Maurice's relationship lasted a very long time. When Maurice grew up, he did not have a couch in his living room for his family, but a dining table where the could all eat. He had it to remind him of his dear friend Laura, and how she came back for him from that mysterious "invisible thread".
