I wrote a poem and I was hoping for an honest opinion on it. S A N D by me.
The beaches are nice,
with lots of spice,
I slip on the ice,
and cry gritty rice,
I fall in the air
Get sand in my hair
There's blood everywhere
And gulls crowd the air
The crabs they laugh
Clack, clack, clack
I feel bad,
but they still laugh
The gulls eat
at my feet
and I scream
For something
The grabs pinch
the crabs poke
They hurt real bad
and I choke
on my tears,
in all the years,
that I've been alive
this is my demise
there is no hope
the crabs still poke
and I alone
get up and go
the crab's sting
lingers on my skin
with their nasty sounds
and pinchers in
my poor poor skin.
what a lovely way
to start my day
with all those crabs
that poke and jab
at my heart
and so I start
once again
to cry.
people are crabs.
