A character finding a coin on the street might symbolize luck is coming his or her way. Select two pieces of literature from one area of the world studied in this course and examine the symbolism in the pieces. Identify three symbols, explain their meaning, and relate that symbol and meaning to a greater principle held by that society. Support your statements with
