This option lets you take an imaginative trip into the future. Pretend that you have enrolled at the college or university you just researched (if you chose college) or that you have joined the military, a volunteer organization, or enrolled at a vocational school or apprenticeship program. You’ve been there for a few weeks now, and you are writing your first letter to someone close to you—parent, mentor, or best friend. If you chose college for your post-secondary education, in some way include in your letter all of the answers to the questions listed in Part 1 above. If you chose another training option for after high school, in some way include in your letter all of the information you gathered to complete the In-depth Research section under Other Training Option Research of the Student Guide Organizer.
In addition, give your impressions of what you like about the school or organization, what you don’t like, and what you still have questions about. What is exciting or disappointing so far? Be creative. Also please write 1 or 2 paragraphs
