School Uniforms Our school has had a long and respected history of being a top school in our town. One of the things that sets our school apart is our traditions. However, it is time for some changes. To start, our school should change its dress code policy by eliminating the required school uniforms.
School uniforms limit students' ability to get good grades. By making all the students dress the same, students are unable to express their creativity. This then affects their studies. By limiting their individual expression, students do not develop their creative side as well as they should. As a result, their school performance is poor because students also need to be imaginative in order to get good grades.
Additionally, school uniforms are expensive. By the time all the different shirts, sweaters, jackets, and pants are bought, they cost more than regular clothes. Plus, students are always afraid of ruining the uniforms while working on messy projects. Therefore, uniforms are not practical.
