Paragraph 2: a good education teaches children how to learn so they can take up independent learning as an adult.

Paragraph 3: a good education teaches people how to reason, which helps people recognize empirical evidence.

Paragraph 4: if children are not taught to reason, they can risk their lives or their future children’s lives by doing things that can be easily refute just by reasoning (for example, there's people that thinks vaccines causes autism).

Paragraph 5: without education our society would  become more and more ignorant.
