Hamlet is a tragedy play written by William Shakespeare. The play is about the titular character, Hamlet, who seeks out to avenge his father's murder by his uncle, Claudius, with whom his mother remarries.

In Act 1 and 2, we see Hamlet delaying his plan to avenge his father's death. though he believed the ghost but still was in doubt if it was the devil who is trying to tempt him into murder of King Claudius.

So, to overcome his doubt, in Act 3, Scene 2, he plans out an act with some actors. He plans out this act to see signs of guilt in Claudius. The play narrated the story of Gonzalo, in which the Duchess of Vienna, Baptista marries her husband's murderer, his nephew- Lucianus. By planning out this act, Hamlet wants to see the sign of guilt in Claudius, and through this he will be able to overcome his doubts and will have prove to execute his avenge on Claudius.
