We need the minerals in the water. We should drink water through desalination like the pacific ocean. Western Los Angeles county, produces five types of designer water for irrigation. California actives fight to save grey water from sinks, showers, and tubs. People have to drink recycled water and try to get passed the yuck factor. Activist called this in the 1990's toilet to tap. California then built  55 MILLION DOLLAR purification plant that didn't purify the water for people but for irrigation. They tried to use recycled water in orange county and it was a succus. Now they are trying it everywhere in hope to see that succus some more. Los Angeles will try again and according to satistics they say it will meet a quarter of their needs. The difference from now tot hen is that everyone wants this to happen now. Although everyone wants this not everyone wants it. for example, there is a small amount of people that don't want it and could stop or slow down the procces. If they decide to not drink the water then it saves them water. But some people come up to Russell Schreiber and tell him the water taste great now. My evaluation is that they made the right decicion even if not everyone agrees.
