PLEASE HELP! Write a paragraph that evaluates Odysseus’s qualifications as an epic hero.

Written by the Legendary Greek Writer, Homer, the Epic, Odyssey is considered a pivotal part of Ancient Greek culture.

In the book, Homer describers a Character Odysseus who is generally regarded as a fantastic hero of the ancient world.

A hero can be described as not just a man of courage and strength but also as the best example of his native land and culture.  In the epic, Odysseus goes through a difficult period in his time, firstly through the Trojan far and after the fall of Trojan his travels in the lands.

He is often shown as a clever and strategic thinker who stands up for the rights of his crew and though he acts as a leader, he makes sure that his team is taken care of.

For example, in the chapter, Sea Perils and Defeat, he is well aware of the danger of the sirens. However, they need to listen to them in order to navigate. He asked all his crew members to plug their ears, asks to be tied up, so only he listens to them and helps guide the ship. He put his life in danger, even though he could have asked anyone else.
