Read the following passage 1. Underline the sentence in the passage that foreshadows a future event

Carlos watched the clock in the classroom like a hawk hunting its prey. He couldn't wait
for the bell to ring. At the end of the school day, the parts for the cast in the upcoming
school play would be displayed outside of the auditorium. Usually, he felt super nervous
when he auditioned for the play, but this time, after he finished his lines, he saw a small
smile on the director's face. He had a feeling that everything would go his way. When the
bell finally rang, he sprinted to the auditorium. He found the cast list displayed proudly on
the doors of the theater. It didn't take him more than a few seconds to find his name at the
very top. He had done it, he had earned the leading role in the play.
