Density has a technical definition. It's very precise.

It is mass divided by volume.

In a lab, it is usually grams  divided by mL or grams divided by cubic centimetres. That definition makes density the same definition for everyone. People in Alaska will get the same answer as people in Texas.

It also gives us some indication of what the substance is like. For example, on planet Earth a very small density is usually a gas. Air at room temperature would have 0.001 grams / cm^3 (very approximate).

If the density is quite large, the substance should be a solid. Iron has a density of about 8. It is a solid and it is "heavy."  I have no idea what race is but I've given you enough information that could probably figure it out.
