After investigating the topic of light-simulating video games, I believe that light simulators are the best way to train pilots. A light simulator is a machine that looks like the inside of an aircraft, with computer-generated visuals that show what a pilot would see if he or she were actually up in the air. Sometimes, the machine even moves the way an airplane would move. Flight simulators are much safer than an actual aircraft for someone who is just learning how to fly. First of all, the simulator never leaves the ground, so there is no chance for it to crash. his way, no one, including the pilot, can get hurt. Additionally, learning how to ly an airplane by reading a textbook is not an efective method. Reading a textbook may be helpful in some ways, but it cannot give a pilot the same type of experience he or she would have while lying a plane. Also, light simulators are a useful way for teens and young people to try out the experience of lying a plane before practicing in a real airplane. In most states, you must be at least 17 before you can get a pilot’s license, but you can practice on a light simulator at any age. For these reasons, I maintain the position that pilots should use light simulators for training. 19. Put brackets around the writer’s claim within the topic sentence.
