Haemon tries to convince Creon that he should not punish Antigone for trying to bury her brother. King Creon simply won't have it... leaving Haemon's argument useless. Creon informs Haemon that he will publicly prison and starve Antigone to death. Creon does not punish Haemon for his attempts to save Antigone.
