“Back to my own country: An Essay”

In the story, “Back to My Own Country: An Essay” by Andrea Levy, she explains how she wasraised and what she goes through after traveling from Jamaica to London. One thing Levy had spokenopenly about was when the classroom was being segregated; “I walked over to the white side of the room.It was, ironically, where I felt most at home…” (paragraph 19).
