- complementary color scheme

- the lights, and the people. this scene looks familiar, but i can't put my finger on it.

- there's an awful lot of red, but there's more of a variety of cool colors.

- He obviously didn't intend this to be a happy painting; it's awfully dreary, and almost sickly. It's melancholy, and looks quiet.

- They make me feel uncomfortable, and somewhat sad. It's an uncomfortable feeling.
