    The roller coaster slowly made its way to the top - the audience shook like autumn leaves with excitement. Would the new attraction be a success? The quiet sound of creaking grew more and more apparent as the ride pulled itself to the top of the mountain of rails. The coaster reached the top, and stopped, as though it was catching its breath for the trip ahead of it. The audience waited anxiously; the air was silent, except for the occasional cry from a child, or the croak from a raven. Suddenly, a roar ripped through the air, and the ride came skidding down the rails. The audience hooted and hollered, and the echoes of clapping filled the air.

    All the while the crowd celebrated, the coaster became a bit lazy. It did not make all the sharpest turns, and sometimes it jumped when racing down a hill. Halfway through it's marvelous runway full of twists and turns, a car fell from the rail. It produced a shrieking, squealing noise of metal beating against the rails. Sparks flew, and soon, over half of the cars were dislodged, the noise they produced seemed to mimic that of a person screaming in agony. The final cart collapsed from the railing, having been pulled down into the jungle of railing and sidewalks below it. The nearby onlookers screamed, fleeing as fast as they could from the devastating scene.

    Carts crashed through the walkways, debris knocking by random victims. A wave of screams and knifes of cart shards consumed the surroundings, engulfing any people that stood too close. The railing that the carts had crushed started to collapse, compressing the ticket building below it into a deformed pancake. The amusement park was no longer as amusing as it was earlier that day. The jolly faces, cotton-candy covered faces, and yelps of delight were drowned out by the newest attraction.
