What could teachers do to change students outlook to see tests as opportunities instead of threats?

They should change the power tests hold over our grades

I feel like a way that would help is not reminding us how hard it is or how easy it is, most people would automatically think if it’s “hard” they have to study more or get really anxious during the exam is taking place. Most students would feel if it was “easy” then the teacher would rely so much on them that they would have to pass, causing them more anxiety. I truly believe taking test is not really something students are happy about, but if they are still gonna make us then they should not tell us if it’s “hard” or “easy” just simply tell us that the test doesn’t determine whether we’re smart or not and we’re capable of accomplishing something.
