The calendar had said "Mother and Son Dinner all week, but somehow A had forgotten about their plans when Friday morning come around. At breakfast, he asked his mom if he could go to his friend's house after school. Judging by the look on his mom's face he thought she would say no, but she said that it was fine and not to be late. He had no idea what she meant by not being late but he was so elated that she said yes that he just ignored it.
