Which of the following would be most appropriate after the below statement in a concluding paragraph? An automated external defibrillator (AED) is vital in emergencies involving cardiac issues and should be a required piece of first-aid equipment at all school-sponsored sporting events.

This device includes simple audio and visual commands designed to help people with little medical training administer treatment on a person experiencing a cardiac episode.

While many schools are interested in having these devices on hand for sporting events, the cost of nearly $2,000 a unit is simply too high for many small programs.

Though cardiac episodes are rare in teenagers, nearly 10,000 student athletes experience some type of cardiac episode either during a game or team practice each year.

Without this life-saving device, student athletes who experience cardiac episodes while on the court or field may sustain further heart injury while waiting for paramedics to arrive.

In this excerpt from "dover beach" by matthew arnold, which two lines or sets of lines suggest that the speaker has undergone a loss of faith? the sea of faith was once, too, at the full, and round earth's shore lay like the folds of a bright girdle furled. but now i only hear its melancholy, long, withdrawing roar, retreating, to the breath of the night-wind, down the vast edges drear and naked shingles of the world. ah, love, let us be true to one another! for the world, which seems to lie before us like a land of dreams, so various, so beautiful, so new, hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light, nor certitude, nor peace, nor for pain; and we are here as on a darkling plain swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight, where ignorant armies clash by night.
