1. We got the mass of one of the sheets with an electronic balance 2. I then recorded the mass on our observation chart.
3. My friend poured 100 ml into a beaker from the graduated cylinder
we had to measure with.
4. Paper towel, rolled into a ball, put into the beaker with water.
5. 10 minutes later, we grabbed the paper towel out with crucible
tongs, and we let it drip for 60 seconds back into the beaker
6. We are going to dry off the scale, then we will place the paper
towel on the scale to see it's mass.
7. We wrote down the mass that we got.
8. We had 2 other kinds of paper towel, so we did the same thing with
steps 1-6 with the other two brands.
9. I calculated mass of dry paper towel, minus the mass of wet paper
towel.
10. A bar graph was created to show which paper towel absorbed the
most water.
