Another reason the two events are similar is that there were evidentiary issues in each case.If her right eye was blacked and she was beaten mostly on the right side of the face, it would tend to show that a left-handed person did it.  In each case, there was an issue of whether the evidence was really taken into consideration by the jury.  In Simpson’s case, some people thought that the jury got fatigued or confused. Moreover, the complicated and confusing testimony from the DNA experts may have confused and worn out the jury, who may not have had an appropriate understanding of the methodologies and scientific merit of these forensic tests.
