HELP ASAP WILL GIVE BRANILEST Students will pretend that they are a teenager living in South Africa during Apartheid. Students will choose to represent one of three racial groups: Afrikaners,

Bantu (Black African),

or Coloured ( mixed race).

They will search for information online to allow them to vividly depict their own living conditions as well as their economic and political significance. Students will write a one page narrative detailing their experiences as one of the people in these groups. The narrative will be written from the perspective of this person and group. Each narrative should include each of the following elements:

- State what racial group you represent

-Describe where you live and work

- Go into detail about your living conditions ( food, clothing, etc.)

- Describe one law that affects your life in South Africa and explain how it affects your life

- Describe if your racial group agrees or disagrees with Apartheid; if your group agrees with it, explain why. If you disagree with it, describe what anti-Apartheid movement you will take part in (African National Congress, etc.).
