Colleen's friend and teammate, Lucinda, offered to help Colleen study, but Colleen refused, saying she wanted to do this on her own. But after a week of studying nonstop, Colleen still didn't understand the material. Finally, she asked Lucinda if she was still willing to tutor her. Lucinda agreed, and the two spent most of the next week studying together. Colleen received a B+ on the test and was able to pass the class and stay on the team. Colleen thanked her tutor profusely, but Lucinda just shook her head and smiled brightly, saying that's what friends are for
