Harry held tightly to the control stick of the aeroplane. He pulled back with all his might, trying to pull the plane out of its downward dive. He quickly realized that his efforts were in vain as the engine finally sputtered and died. Harry frantically pushed buttons on the control panel, hoping against hope that he could save the plane. Failing with the control panel, Harry looked around wildly for a way to revive the engine, knowing that it was ultimately useless. He looked out the rain-splattered windshield and saw a small island growing rapidly in the distance. As the plane rapidly lost altitude, the island loomed larger and larger. As the plane approached the tumultuous waves, Harry braced for impact, cursing the poorly engineered engine of the aeroplane.
