I see the aqua ocean waves splash on the shore, where the little children run around carefree playing tag or splashing each other with the sun-warmed water. I wish I was little again, I think to myself. I want to be that little girl running around bare feet touching the golden sand being carefree. I wanted that again, I wanted to hold onto that moment, but don't we all? Now my mind is invaded with thoughts of whether I'll have time to turn in that essay or to be that perfect daughter my parents have wished for. I regret never having as much fun as I did when younger, I regret caring for how others view me, I regret the thoughts of "what ifs." We all regret, but we never make up for them.
