Because conscious mind also have emotions and unconscious mind also have logic. It is scientifically proved that unconscious mind is more creative than conscious mind and it is a little lesser logical, but we cannot say that it is totally illogical or that only conscious mind had logic. Same like this, conscious mind still shows emotions. Emotions and logic are not totally opposite things and can be at the same place at the same time, irrespective of the consciousness or unconsciousness of the mind.

Example: In an NGO run by some responsible people, there are people who have emotions for the orphaned children but at the same time they show their logic and think how to solve their problems.
