Chinese Cinderella Ch 5-6 In chapter 5 of Chinese Cinderella, Niang’s life changes when her stepchildren come to live with her after having her husband and young family all to herself for over a year. Use this opportunity to step into Niang’s head and write a journal entry AS Niang. Consider what she has liked about the last year and how she fears it might change, her struggles with her stepchildren, and her goals for the future of her family. Since this is a journal entry, she can be brutally honest about her feelings.
