Read the opening paragraphs to the persuasive essay, "Make the Most of Compost!" Make the Most of Compost!

We need to protect our land from being treated as something that only we have a right to use and perhaps misuse. It seems like we've been thinking only about our needs and our wants; but not about the future generations that will live off the same land that we use so unwisely.

This is why I feel that creating community composting sites is an excellent idea with innumerable benefits. Firstly, it reduces the amount of trash in a landfill. It also adds nutrients to the soil and helps the soil retain moisture.

Which element is not in this persuasive essay?

A. A strong thesis statement
B. A logical fallacy
