What is the main theme of the poem? Written while Brontë was away at school this poem
describes her longing for summer on the heath the
flowery grassland of her home. Heath is also the name
of a purple flower that grows on that landscape
The Bluebell
by Emily Brontë
Differences between a person's mood and
what they see can be instructive.
A comparison between a person's thoughts
and actions can be informative.

reflect changes in people.
A contrast between home and another
