It also helps in stopping conflict among users of the said online space. Netiquette corrects behavioural rules on the internet, and makes sure there isn't any cyber bullying, unnecessary arguments and what have you. And finally, I would say netiquette helps in propagating the standards of online space, stating what is acceptable and what isn't acceptable
