I need help writing my thesis statement on The crucible. My research question is “who is the most despicable character in the play “the Crucible”, and why? I want to write on how Abigail is the main villain so any help is appreciated!

I think that Abigail Williams is the most despicable character in the novel. She tried to get John Proctor to leave his wife for her. Then after Elizabeth Proctor got rid of her, she started to claim her as a witch to get back at her. She also thought that Proctor would be with her if Elizabeth. Not only did she accuse Elizabeth of being a witch, but she accused nearly every rich women in Salem. This is why i think that Abigail Williams is the most despicable character in the novel

based on the biblical principle philippians 4: 13 "i can do everything through christ who strengthens me." i agree that it is through him that we are given the strength to cope with every situation.

and based on the biblical principle proverbs 16: 32 "better to get angry slowly than to be a hero. better to be even-tempered than to capture a city."   i agree with the author of the passage to the extent that the nobility of heart demonstrates the strength of a person. those who are contemptuous, get angry easily and show their anger toward others are really weak, but those who are noble and make sure to not hurt other people and their feelings are strong people.
