I’m a skyscraper, what am i doing here. how did i get up here, wow i’m tall. i’m a skyscraper.

Everyday, I tower over my home as life beneath me stirs. I watch as every being and creature pass me by as they head off to live off their own lives. I stand idly by and observe everything that happens around me with content. I’m shelter to the inhabitants that live within this city and provide a safe place to stay, so I always have company around. It brings me warmth to know that I serve as such an important role to my community, with the reward of a gorgeous view. The shining stars at night that glimmer with pride, the gradient sunrise in the morning and the bright cloudless afternoons in between are all so wonderful, and I get to watch it all with a front row seat. I live as a tall stature to help my city, to make others feel safe, and I find that to be a satisfying reward as well.
