What is the most appropriate reading strategy to use when creating pre-reading questions?

a) read another story by the author and ask questions how it might be similar to the story you are about to read.
b) research biographical information about the author; then create ask how the details of his or her life might be reflected in the story.
c) ask a friend who has already read the story to give you a short summary; then ask questions about what you do not yet know.
d) do an internet search of the title of the story to see what sorts of questions other readers have had about the story.

Some bias is inevitable. why? because it's impossible to cover everything in a completely balanced way! because networks only run stories that will attract viewers and listeners because only certain types of stories will make money because there are no consequences for presenting a blased story
