''That's ridiculous. How can meat make a machine? You're asking me to believe in sentient meat.'' To be sentient means to have feelings or senses.

The first being simply cannot believe that anything made of meat could be thinking, feeling, or creating. The second being tells the first that they probed the lifeforms and everything - including the brain - is made out of meat. In fact, these suspicious creatures are ''...thinking meat! Conscious meat!
