Body language is a type of noverbal langauge used amongst humans everyday: whether we know it or not. Body launguage is typically used to express feelings or convey information without the use of words. Such behavior includes facial expressions, body posture, gestures, eye movement, touch, and the use of space.

There is negative and positive body language.

Positive body language usually consists of:  when your movements and gestures show that you are engaged, interested, approachable, and open. You may be making eye contact, sitting straight up, or your eyes may be wide.

Negative body language typically consists of: either a conscious or unconscious expression of sadness, anger, nervousness, impatience, boredom, or lack of confidence. We can tell a lot about how a person is feeling through their body language. Types of negative body language include: Avoidance of eye contact. Staring. You may even be slumped far down in your seat, not wanting to speak to anyone.
