In the second half of Night, Elie Wiesel describes several events from his time in the Buna concentration camp, then details the circumstances leading up to the prisoners'
forced march to escape the Red Army.
Think about an event from sections 4-6 that interested or surprised you and write a
personal response about it. A personal response might answer these types of
questions:
• How did you feel as you were reading that part? Why?
• Why did you find that event interesting, surprising, or perhaps horrifying?
• What connections can you make to that event and something that's happened
in your own life or in recent history?
Use the RACE strategy and write at least THREE complete sentences for full credit.

" keyn asked. tablin looked around the dirt courtyard. he tried to peer through the shadowy arches of the flowing barrel. he even twisted in his saddle to look across the merchant's bazaar, past tents and warehouses filled with goods. "i don't know," he said. "did you leave it in your mouth? it's the only place i can think of that's big enough." keyn laughed; something got stuck in his throat half way, and he coughed for breath. "i can see you're good to go,” tablin observed as keyn struggled to clear his throat. “go get your horse yourself before i take the job and leave you to rot in the flowing barrel."
