It was dusk when I finally reached the most beautiful and anticipated part of the trail: its ending. There I stood, watching the limitless horizon and what, to me, seemed to be billions of flowers, stretching eternally away from me. The daffodils danced playfully, giggling at one another, happily tickling and touching. The wind whooshed a bit harder now, as if to put their little dance to test. They did not complain, however. The spectacle went on. I lifted my eyes and stared at the clouds, floating by like weightless pieces of the finest cotton, tinted by the dying colors of a twilight sun.
