Be sure to state main ideas and supporting details. Your statements should answer the critical listening questions and provide evidence from the presentation you listened to. Ask yourself these questions:

Do I know the statement is based on fact, and can I verify the fact from multiple resources?
Is the statement affected by emotion?
Does the speaker have something to gain by changing my opinion?
Do I want to believe this simply because it was stated by someone I like or admire?
Most importantly, does this statement agree with my Christian ideals and standards? Why or why not?
