Plzzz help I don’t know how to start my essay that’s due tomorrow on this topic: Dr. King noted that, at various times, not all Americans have been "free". Now, many
Americans take these freedoms and opportunities for granted.

Flash Forward-It is the year 3050, and you are about to leave your home in North
America on Earth to emigrate to another planet in the universe. You want others to join you in
this quest to a new land. Explain why one should leave Earth and where the group will be going.
In your persuasive essay, you must list the pros and cons for leaving America and starting over in
a new, undiscovered place. Explain in the speech (as Martin Luther King Jr. did), your
dreams for a future on this New World.

Write the speech as if you really have a life in 3050. Give yourself a job, family, and
hobbies. Talk about your feelings and frustrations with having to start over. (Reminder-Martin
Luther King Jr. told of the need for change and his vision for the future). In the speech, list the
reasons you should go and the reasons for staying in America on the planet Earth. Remember that
society in the year 3050 will surely be different from society now, but the point of the speech is to
persuade others to go with you on this journey.
