The holocaust was a result of the presidency of Adolf Hitler. Hitler rounded and slaughtered over 6 million people, mainly jewish, in concentration camps.

The Diary of Anne Frank taught me the most about the holocaust. I learned that innocent people were sent to concentration camps and were forced into hiding in order to survive. I also learned that there were people that tried to help and save the Jewish people and got into major trouble doing so if they got caught.
