Read the excerpt from queen elizabeth's address to the troops at tilbury. let tyrants fear, i have always so behaved myself, that, under god, i have placed my chiefest strength and safeguard in the loyal hearts and good will of my subjects, and therefore i am come amongst you, as you see, at this time, not for my recreation and disport, but being resolved in the midst and heat of the battle, to live or die among you all, to lay down for my god, and for my kingdoms, and for my people, my honour, and my blood, even in the dust. which statement best describes queen elizabeth's use of rhetorical appeals in this excerpt? she relies on ethos by explaining that she has previous experience fighting in battles. she relies on pathos by providing examples of other successes she has had as a ruler. she relies on ethos by establishing that she is there for more than just recreation. she relies on pathos by using emotionally charged words to motivate the troops.

Usually, when people talk about "rocky” relationships, it’s with a frown, but mine has enriched my life. i became fascinated with rocks when i was really young, and throughout my childhood you could usually find me with my pockets bulging from whatever stony treasures i’d scavenged that day. when my science teacher taught us a unit on geology, i realized that my fascination could become an exciting career that could also me make good money. obtaining an internship to work on the geological exhibit at the museum is an important step on my road to being a geologist. the best description of the writer’s point of view is that the person is eager to make a lot of money in a museum internship. insistent that geology should be taught as part of every science course. hopeful to be able to further the goal of eventually becoming a geologist. concerned that people do not generally relate well to the study of geology.

Ineed it now in this discussion you will use what you learned about the poems "will there really be a 'morning'? ", "i dwell in possibility", and "ozymandias" to compare how both dickinson and shelley used form - lines, capitalization, and punctuation - to bring meaning to the poems. let's check out one of your classmate's posts: in both "will there really be a 'morning'? " and "i dwell in possibility," emily dickinson capitalizes the words in the poem that tell the reader what to focus on in the poem. shelley also capitalizes words that are not names. these must be important to the meaning of the poem. create one post that compares how both dickinson and shelley use form - lines, capitalization, and punctuation - to bring meaning to the poems "will there really be a 'morning'? ", "i dwell in possibility", and "ozymandias".
