The summer courses might benefit Sampson, George, and Rameck as they will be able to earn graduate level of teaching in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Writing, which will help them to earn up to seven undergraduate credits.

"We Beat The Street: How A Friendship Pact Led to Success" is a non-fictional story and autobiographical account of three doctors co-authored by the Three Doctors (Dr. Sampson Davis, Rameck Hunt, and George Jenkins) and Sharon M. Draper. The novel shares about how the pact of these three doctors helped them to become successful in their careers despite of their criminal neighbourhood.

In Chapter 12, when the three friends get to know about the Pre-Medical Plus program offered by the Seton Hall University, preceeded by a seven-week summer program. This seven week summer program might benefit these three friends to decide their career path, and also earn graduate level of teaching in various subjects. This program will also help them to earn seven undergraduate credit.
