Looking at the present situation of the world, we can safely say that more and more educational institutions are leaning to distance learning more than on-site learning. But there are certain advantages and disadvantages concerning the issue.

With distance learning, students can study while being at home or at work. On the other hand, it means that the students will not be taking daily classes, regular classes which is an important part of what education must be. But then, there is no saying that on-site learning is better than distance learning. Added to that, there is the issue of expenses, and distance learning costs less than an on-site educational program. This makes it easier for people from the weaker sections of the society to get equal education for their children. But in the end, the final decision should be on the child, for that education is their right and life too.
