We gather here today to honor a great ballplayer. What makes Zeke Zensky one of the greatest Yankees whoever played? One thing is the
four hundred twelve home runs he hit. But Zeke's contribution to the team
has been far greater than that, as a teammate, a teacher to younger
players, and an ambassador of our game to the city. That's where Zeke
really earned the title of The Great Z. Because not only did he come
through in games, he came through for our city, putting in thousands of
hours helping kids, feeding the hungry, starting and running different
charity organizations, and much, much more.
