How does whitmans attitude toward death in song of myself compare to dickinsons attitude in 712 because i could not stop for death

In Whitman's point of view, death is simply a return to earth. On the other hand, Dickinson has a very different perspective towards death. She sees it as a spiritual rebirth. Both poems might have a different approach, but they are basically telling the same thing, which is to not fear death.
