I have to write a poem for english this is all I have so far. Please give your honest opinion and actually read it thanks. :) I sit and ponder at the dark blue sky
How the stars twinkle in midnight
The moon sits up so high
Always shining so bright

A nice breeze shifts the air
There is a little chill here and there
But my eyes continue to stare
The stars seem to flare

The sky is covered with a nice glow
Some shoot to and fro
All the stars put on a show
Each one appears to grow

The moons light starts to fade
As a fog of clouds takes its place
The wind comes to its aid
The clouds leave without a trace

Only if I could be so near
There would be nothing for me to fear
Everything would be so clear
I might even start to tear

The water glistens under the moon
It sings its own little tune
The sounds are always very boon
I think it has its own rune

Even the stars gather around
But the moon seems to be the host
They all enjoy the beautiful sound
But never do they boast

Some of the stars start to fly
Leaving trails of light across the sky
I cannot help but start to cry
It is truly beauty to my eye

They are as bright as they can be
So much I can barely see
They all look so free
I cannot help but to show some glee

As I look out towards North
All my pain starts to ease
I watch the clouds come forth
The night sky is my peace

If only I was at the beach
Oh how much the stars would preach
It all seems out of reach
But nobody would be a creech

The feeling of sand under my feet
That would be such a treat
The ocean smells very sweet
And the stars look perfectly neat

I walk around and my footprints engraves
As my feet enters the oceans edge
The dark blue water always waves
And it tends to give the same pledge

The cool water overlaps
And fills the sands little gaps
Around my foot the water wraps
Mixed in with the shells scraps

I watch the waves go in out
Always going the same route
Nothing here seems to shout
There is no reason for them to pout

On the waves the stars reflect
Glowing down ever so slightly
Very faint your can barely detect
But no worries it is there nightly

I reach down and cup the sand
How cold it feels in my hand
And yet soft but firm when I stand
It never even looks bland

And on the sand I decide to lay
I close my eyes and try to pray
I already know what to say
Thank you for this beautiful day

When I open my eyes
There is a wonderful sight
A row of birds start to rise
Over the ocean they begin their flight

If you’re looking for a place to visit, i recommend yosemite national park. visiting yosemite has been a high point of my life. can you imagine waking up, inhaling the pine-scented air, and watching the pink-tinted mountains reflect the sunrise? later, as you hike, you’ll encounter meadows strewn with rainbows of wildflowers and lakes in astonishing shades of blue. the tone of the passage is effective because it defines yosemite for the reader. the author entertain the reader. instructs the reader on how to enjoy yosemite. supports the author’s attempt to persuade.
