After reading and discussing "A Woman's Place" as a class, you will write creative nonfiction about things that have progressed in the world. Possible Topics are gender roles in families, racism, social media, or gender identities. Use the article we read today as a model. Try to do the same things that the author of this article. You are free to tackle about any topic (except politics) that has progressed so long as your paper includes:
- embedded research- you will need to look at several sources to find the best research to embed in your essay.
- diction- use language that specifically helps you explain well, and bring your essay to life. Avoid words like really, good, great, etc. Use a thesaurus.
- figurative language- try to find ways to use similes, metaphors, imagery, etc.
